Wow ,the cab is on the frame, first go around you would need a ladder to get in it. We have lowered the cab via body floor modifications and it is much nicer and still clears the air bag suspension travel .The floor will have to be channeled and fabricated. brkts are being made. The box is next, it is an original box that has been bobed, other than the length we will try to keep box looking as original as possible .This is a real interesting build so check back soon.

It's been a little while since we've done an update on our monster truck, but it hasn't been idle all this time. The body work on the cab is done, it is in primer & ready for paint. We can't go a lot farther on the body side until we get the frame back from the builder. The extreme nature of the frame build means that mounting the cab will present several challenges that we can't address until we are knee deep in it. Meanwhile, the suspension & drive train side of the project have been moving along at a steady pace. When the frame is done it will be shipped back to us, we will then have to fabricate &/or modify the fenders & pick up box to allow for the unusual frame configuration. After everything has been built & test fitted we will tear the whole thing back down to a bare frame so it can all be sand blasted & powder coated. After all that we paint & reassemble. This is an ambitious project & is still a good distance from completion, but we will continue to post updates as we progress.

This 1963 fj45's last life was as a mud racer in the Coos Bay area on the Oregon Coast. It came to us looking rough but running great. She's got a long way to go but we've found a customer who can see her inner beauty and her next life will come with a bit more pampering and at least a covered parking place. After a rough tear down we sent her up to W at Over the Hill 4x4 to have all the running gear updated while we get the new tub going. As you can see she's coming right along.
